Let Me Introduce Myself...

Hi, my name is SJ and I'm a characterful and far from faceless style & fashion entrepreneur.

That aside, I've also been enjoying formulating my own organic, natural and chemical-free skincare since 2020 when my desire to explore alternative natural health and beauty options grew. As a result I developed the most wonderful range of handmade 'Skinfood' from a selection of plant-based blends of rich butters and oils.

Growing up in a Caribbean household, my mum use to make homemade Coconut Oil. Every day we used raw Cocoa Butter as our moisturiser. We had potted Aloe plants everywhere and would often use the leaves for health purposes. Our skin was healthy and glowing but as a child I didn't appreciate it - I wanted to purchase conventional skincare in fancy jars with 'interesting' lists of ingredients.

Now as an adult, I understand that I was seduced by nothing but shiny jars packed with toxic chemicals... the only thing I now desire to put on to my skin and the skin of my loved ones are the same raw, natural, organic ingredients I once rejected... Funny how life and the values you hold take a complete 360!

My Skinfood range embraces all of the health benefits and handmade charm that is now so greatly sought after by the growing numbers of people who resonate with my love of natural, chemical and toxin free daily skincare.

It offers a natural solution to an array of common skin issues such as sensitive, dry skin, eczema and acne but equally you don't have to have any issues at all but just simply love the feel of quality toxin free ingredients on your skin.

I can't take all of the credit though, my 17 year old daughter and her impeccable maths skills played a big role in getting this venture off the ground too... I'm so happy with what we've achieved so far…
